Not isolated cases, when a worker on the way home or to work or another place of the accident, which occurred temporary disability. If this happens, it is necessary to investigate and clarify the circumstances and causes of accidents. After installing production is the case or not and the expense of any Fund will be paid*.
The temporary disability benefits for occupational illness or accident in production shall be paid at the expense of means of Fund of social insurance from accidents on manufacture. If the employee had an accident, not connected with the performance of his employment duties, the payments will be made at the expense of social insurance Fund on temporary disability.
The procedure of investigation and accounting of accidents outside work approved by resolution of CMU dated 22.03.2001, No. 270 (hereinafter - the Order of 270). Under accidents outside work should be understood not connected with execution of labour duties injuries, including those due to injuries caused by another person, poisoning, suicide, burns, frostbite, drowning, electric shock, lightning, injuries caused by a natural disaster, contact with animals, which led to damage to health or death of the victim (p. 2 about 270).
Subject to investigation accidents outside work that took place with the employee, including during their journey to or from work on foot, by public, private or other vehicle not owned by the employer and not used to his advantage, and while performing work in the household, using household appliances.
