Elena Isinbayeva Gadjieva  ( born 3 June 1982 in Volgograd, RSFSR, USSR). She is Russian vaulter. Two-time Olympic champion (2004, 2008), winner of the bronze medal of the Olympic games 2012. Three-time world champion outdoors and 4-time champion world indoor, European champion both outdoors and indoors.Winner of 28 world records in pole vaults among women. Honored master of sports of Russia.
  July 22, 2005 at the competitions in London for the first time in the history of women's pole vault took the height of five meters. 6 Mar 2012 is recognized as the most successful current athlete of Russia.
  18 Aug 2016 were elected to the athletes Commission of the International Olympic Committee, entering the top four, chosen from 24 candidates, receiving 1,365 votes out of 11 voting thousands of athletes, with a term of 8 years.   June 28, 2014 Elena Isinbayeva gave birth to a daughter eve from Nikita Petinov, who is a javelin thrower, a member of the national team of Russia.
